Writing and hands: Multiple hands writing Caroline minuscule, with rubrics mostly in rustic capitals and initials generally in square capitals; the volume-incipit has been executed in two-line square capitals alternating in red and black. The interlinear glosses on pp. 58-59 have been attributed to the hand of Ekkehard IV († 973) (Bergmann and Stricker).
